NCAA Track & Field Indoor Championship Videography for the National Champions Florida Gator's Women

Updated: May 5, 2022

Birmingham, AL - The Florida Gator's Men's and Women's teams qualified 18 entries into the 2021 Track & Field Indoor National Championships. The Women's team took home the team title with a dominating 68 points. I was blessed to be apart of the championship team. I traveled with the team to Birmingham, AL. Over the two days of competition I covered the team then would produce videos for social media after the event.

My work was featured on the official NCAA Track & Field socials along with video footage that was used for a commercial on the SEC Network for TV.

Complied Videography reel from the weekend:

First day we arrived at the Cross Plex for a light practice day. The track was covered in official NCAA regalia. The team was locked in and ready to roll.

Day 1 - The weekend started early with Anna Hall (SO) in the Pentathlon. Hall set the tone and won the five event competition just shy of a NCAA record. Jasmine Moore (SO) won the long jump with Claire Bryant (SO) coming in 7th.

Day 2 - The Gator Women saw how their teammates did day 1 and they didn't look back. Grace Stark dominated the 60 meter hurdles tying the collegiate record. Coach Mike Holloway, who is known for his cool composure, raced over to Stark, hugged, and celebrated with her. Excitement was flowing and didn't stop. Talitha Diggs (SO) with one of the biggest upsets of the day wins the 400 meters from the first heat. Jasmine Moore continued her dominance by breaking her own colligate record in the Triple Jump with teammate Natricia Hooper (SR) coming in second. By the end of the Triple Jump the team knew they had the win secured. Their lead was so commanding they didn't even run a 4x400 relay. The celebration commenced. This was Coach Mike Holloway's first ever Women's National Title and the schools first Women's title since 1992.
