Tallahassee, Fla. In a rare moment in the history of college running, all eyes were on the state of Florida. In preparation of the 2021 NCAA Cross Country Championships, Florida State University hosted Pre-Nationals. 12 of the top 30 teams in the nation competed at the race. It was a fast one too. Conner Mantz, BYU, took down the course record. He broke Wesley Kiptoo’s (Iowa State) course record with a time of 22:47 in the 8k.
