University of Florida Pro Masters Capstone Project
Eliud Kipsang is a student-athlete at the University of Alabama. He is from Eldoret, Kenya but currently lives in Tuscaloosa, Al as he was given a scholarship to run cross country and track for the Crimson Tide. Kipsang is currently the 1500 meter collegiate record holder with his time of 3:33.74. Everyone sees the face and the time, but who really is Eliud Kipsang?
Tallahassee, Fla - Kipsang runs under the trees at the NCAA Cross Country Pre Nationals at Florida State University.
Tuscaloosa, Al - Kipsang starts his walk to the University of Alabama football stadium. He goes to most of the home football games to support his fellow student-athletes. Alabama is facing Vanderbilt, and Kipsang is planning to leave at half-time.
Artiken bracelets are special to distance runners. They are originally made and popularized in Kenya. They are Handcrafted. Kipsang wears one for the Kenyan flag and the other the United States, to represent his two homes.
Eugene, Ore - Eliud walks with Cooper Teare to Hayward Field at the University of Oregon. Teare and Kipsang are competitors turned friends. Teare holds the NCAA indoor mile record with a time of 3:50.39.

Oxford, MS - Kipsang collapses on the ground after racing an 8-kilometer race. He prefers the track but will run hard in cross country to help his team win.
